THE HULEATT MEN RULE!

Jeff and his sons had a very productive 10th of January.  They spent the day with Phil and Captain Miguel on the SOL and hooked a very big sailfish and 3 Dorado.  These were the biggest salt water catches for the boys and we think that they are Hooked!  Dr. Jeff gave us the name of a very effective (non-drowsy) medication for sea-sickness and it will be included with any request that has doubts about motion-sickness.  The Huleatt men will be back next year and we hope that the big ones will be  around for them.  Congratulations, maybe we will catch a sail next year on the fly rod.

THE HURRICANE HITS!

Steve 'HURRICANE' Huber, a radio celebrity from Regina, Canada brought Vallarta a group that was ready for anything.  They chartered the fabulous STRIKE ONE and hit the open seas with Corona in hand and proceeded to rid the Bay of Banderas of 4 Dorado and a very big Sailfish.  Little did they know that a cameraman from England for the Discovery Channel would accompany and film their charter.

This is Steve Huber and the beautiful Chantal who risked her life and sanity with this boisterous group.  HURRICANE has a fantastic web site and you will find more photos of the entire vacation here.  Puerto Vallarta is honored to have been the host for this very wonderful group of Canadians who have all pledged to return to PV for another round of spectacular fishing in Mexico with Phil.  Thanks guys and we will be waiting to see you next year or sooner!

THE MUSKIE COMES DOWN!

Ken and Sylvianne Roberts and friends, Dave and Louise had a great day on the BRISA II.  Louise was hell-bent on catching a bill-fish and despite the razing that the rest of the group gave her, when her number came up, she did exactly what she predicted, brought the Sailfish in single handedly and is having it mounted so that it will replace Dave's Muskie.

Rumor has it that the somewhat insignificant Muskie is going to be placed in Louise's Sailfish's mouth.  Ken, and Dave each hooked good sized Dorado and Sylvianne caught a beautiful Rooster fish that she released.  It was a perfect day and we hope that a trip on the BRISA will be an annual event.  (Sorry Louise, Phil's ego is even bigger than your Sailfish!)
